Activity description

Currently, NCYU College of Science and Engineering actively promotes the Project of Smart Energy and Sustainable Development, which crosses domains and has two cores: wisdom and energy application. The purposes of the project are to nurture and intensify student ability of both relevant engineering specialty and creativity, and to stimulate their creative potentials.

Through a contest, the project will provide students the opportunity to conceive and make the products creatively, and then to upgrade their creativity and the ability to apply for a patent. It's also hoped the program will provide reference and application for industrial technology and to connect the industrial linkages, as well as  raising NCYU's popularity and international competition.

Results

The themes of Achievement of NCYU College of Science and Engineering 2022:   I. Physical Chemistry and Mathematics, II. Computer Application, III. Energy Mechanical and Engineering Application, and IV. Electronic Circuit

There were 43 teams attending the contest, which was supported by the departments, and the final-result was announced on June 2th, 2022.

Group I. Physical Chemistry and Mathematics:

(I)                Gold medal (NTD5000): The topic for this was the three kinds of fate evolution about HSA, by 陳湘綾, 王少琪, 陳亭君, 陳宏鈞 and 王心華, and the advising professors, 黃正良 and 王梓帆.

(II)              Silver medal (NTD3000): The topic of this was to research Carbon chloride pulp to find the faraday effect, by 賴誼珮 and 巫建鵬 and the advising professor, 蘇炯武.

(III)           Bronze medal (NTD1000): The topic of this research was to use the Dual-single film fiber to test liquid refractive index, by 陳重光 and the advising professor, 許芳文.

Group II. Computer Application.

(I)                Gold medal (NTD5000): The topic of this was to combine the operation with the cloud architecture and to monitor the situation regarding the cluster of bees, by 葉祺騰, 賴約翰, 黃羿華 and 林聖博, and the advising professors, 邱志義.

(II)              Silver medal (NTD3000): The topic was to create a detection platform to ensure smart security, by 江毓晴 and 陳元娣, and the advising professor, 陳宗和.

(III)           Bronze medal (NTD1000): The topic was creating a smart bicycle powered the electricity, by 詹祐育 and the advising professor, 張慶鴻.

Group III. Energy Mechanical and Engineering Application.

(I)                Gold medal and Bonus (NTD5000): The topic of this research was use both the Proton exchange membrane of fuel and battery membrane electrode, by 陳宥羽, 黃允楷 and 張恩豪, and the advising professor, 陳震宇.

(II)              Silver medal and Bonus (NTD3000): The topic was to research fungal detection platform, by 李芊佑, 郭緯綸, 楊承祐 and 邱苡慈, and the advising professor, 洪敏勝.

(III)           Bronze medal and Bonus (NTD1000): The topic was to develop an ultrasound encoder, by 洪崧輔 and 黃祥睿,  and the advising professor, 張中平.

(IV)          Bronze medal and Bonus (NTD1000): The topic was building a water quality detection system to check peanut soaking machinery, by 曾鈺程, 王耘笙, 陳采葳 and 翁誠志, and the advising professor, 朱健松.

Group IV. Electronic Circuit (only three teams attended this competition and the criteria was based on the Energy Mechanical and Engineering Application).

(I)                Gold medal (NTD5000): The topic of this was to design and simulate the voltage control oscillator based on NDR, by 賴俊毓, and the advising professor, 甘廣宙.

(II)              Silver medal (NTD3000): The topic was to monitor the Algae growth period based on CMOS to check the converter, by 粘峻耀 and 楊閔順, and the advising professor, 江政達.

(III)           Bronze medal and Bonus (no rewarded)

Outside of the above teams, many teams earned rewards from their masterpieces. The results showed that all the professors from participating departments as well as our respected dean(黃俊達院長), had engaged in advising the students earnestly all the time.
